Plain-language terms for playing Gilded Boards.
Playing
Gilded Boards is for families and friends. Be kind at the table. Don’t use the app to harass anyone, to share anything illegal, or to cheat in ranked games. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your account
You can play without an account on one device, or add a passkey or another sign-in to keep your tables across devices. You can delete your account at any time from the app.
Gems and purchases
Gems are an in-app currency for looks, helpers and gifts. They have no cash value and can’t be exchanged for money. Purchases in the iPhone and Android apps are handled by Apple and Google under their refund rules; purchases on our website are handled by Stripe, and you can ask for a refund from Me › Purchases.
What you share
You keep ownership of what you write and the photos you add. You give us permission to show them to the people you share them with, as the app does.
Reports
You can report a player or a message from their card or the chat. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll say so in the app first.
